To prevent drivers from nodding off while driving, 13-year-old Bisma Salangi and her eight-member team from Karachi's Evergreen Secondary School created "anti-sleep device for drivers."

Drivers typically snooze, feel weary, or fall asleep while driving, especially at night. Therefore, they will be warned by the anti-sleep device by making sounds as soon as they close their eyes.

Bisma Solangi claims that due to fatigue or inadequate sleep, drivers fall asleep behind the wheel all over the world, especially in Pakistan. Due to this road accidents re on the rise. However, anti-sleep devices assist drivers in staying awake anytime they feel sleepy or lethargic. The goal of the anti-sleep device was to lower traffic accidents.

At NASA's Space and Rocket Centre in Huntsville, Alabama in the United States, about 24 kids from three different schools in Karachi participated in a space camp.

"We were handed the project for the anti-sleep device when the Dawood Foundation encouraged our school to participate in the Science Competition" said Nargis, teacher of Bisma Solangi. "The entire crew worked extremely hard, and after four months, we were successful in creating a device. She claims that the anti-sleep device will be helpful for everyone, including drivers, security personnel, and students who want to study late at night."

The cost of the anti-sleep device, which will only cost fifteen hundred, is really reasonable. And the glasses are very easy to make and use.
